So I was mistaken when I linked to the Reuters article but classified it as “Humor”? I didn’t think they were actually pretending to be serious.

I think anyone hosting ‘the elders’ is merely humoring them. You know they are only going in order to gum up the works for the President, or—if things do work out for the President, steal his thunder.

This bunch is who the ADL should be talking about, not CAIR.

Actually, I think they act more out of an inflated sense of their own self-importance and an inability to grasp that they are no longer the “movers and shakers” of the world.

Incidentally, am I the only one who gets a chill up my spine by the fact that this group which seeks to impose their control on the world calls themselves by a name that reeks of reference to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion?

I see it too, but, it could also reference church Elders—it also connotes wisdom. I think they would like to be thought of a The Wise Ones. There’s your chill.
